Tim Stringer is a gritty Americana / Southern Rock / Alt-Country songwriter whose songs are forged from long days, blue-collar experience, and home town stories. Smoky guitar riffs meet honest, hard-earned lyrics. His work honors the grit of everyday life, overtime shifts, busted trucks, and stubborn loves, turning them into anthems that are equal parts raw, melodic, and sincere. He writes equally from experience and the optimist who still believes in fairness and hope. He has embraced AI as part of songwriting workflow, maintaining human intent, emotions, and writing that comes from the heart.
Listen to Rain Coming Down
Verse 1
Rain falling against the window
Streetlights blurred through the haze
Your coffee cup on the counter
Empty and untouched since you left
Chorus
Rain coming down
Wash away my tears
Wash away my fears
What once was mine,
Slipped through my hands,
Slipped away from me
Verse 2
You didn’t say my name the same
Something missing in your eyes
When I came into the room
Didn’t see me, looked right through me
Bridge
The future I thought I knew
A faded dream, can’t be renewed
I can face another day
Or sit here letting days go by
Rain Coming Down is about loss and regret for a relationship that has gone south. I once had a girl once tell me that she loved me, but she wasn't in love with me. It does make a difference.
